One month before the event, you’ll choose your meetings: You’ll be given access to detailed profiles on all attendees. With this info you select the 20 Buyers or Suppliers you most want to meet. Everybody’s requests are then fed into our system, which produces the most fair and effective combination possible of Buyer and Supplier-requested meetings. One week before the event you’ll receive your provisional meetings schedule for your approval. 4 meetings sessions happen over the 2 business days and they all take place at the Supplier’s dedicated, numbered table. Each meeting is strictly 20 minutes long with a 5-minute break between each.
Remember, your meetings are only part of the HI Design experience. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to meet everyone else during the event!
Hotel Interior Designers need to touch and feel products
Specs and images of your products are a good start but the specifiers need to touch and feel before they can get properly excited.
The Supplier Showcase allows Suppliers to display some products, bringing an exhibition element to the event. Setup within the meeting room for the whole event, products are convenient to hand at any time. For 75 minutes on the first business day, all Buyers will attend the Showcase area. This means Suppliers can introduce their products to Buyers they don’t have a scheduled meeting with and the Buyers can see all products and get the information they need.

The seminar programme brings significant added value and a welcome change of pace between meetings. It will educate, inspire, challenge and entertain. Expertly hosted and moderated by Guy Dittrich, renowned journalist and moderator, 4 unique sessions are delivered over the two business days. You can expect the latest market information from top industry experts, a headliner keynote interview with a design guru, debates on controversial topics or thought-provoking presentations on something completely different. Audience participation is always encouraged – you may even be invited to participate! The Seminar Programme is included in your delegate fee.

The networking starts with the optional pre-event tour: a fun group event, you’ll start making friends before you know it. The Welcome Buffet officially kicks things off that evening with all Buyers and Suppliers together, putting faces to names and catching up with acquaintances. Day 2, the networking keeps rolling with chats over coffee, lunch and between the meetings. As official business ends on day 2, it’s time to relax as we re-group for an informal dinner and drinks. Day 3 and the networking just seems to flow as you enjoy random chats and unexpected meetings throughout the day and leads start to open up from unexpected sources. As the final business day closes, everyone comes together again in the evening for the Farewell Dinner and drinks. After 2 busy days it’s time to relax in the company of new clients, colleagues and friends and firm up plans to meet after the event.
